Blueprint has screened and been nominated for awards at all of the major gay film festivals in Newfest, Frameline, Outfest and London Gay & Lesbian Film Festival as well as the film market at the Cannes Film Festival.  Blueprint is a film which crosses genre and boundaries.  Some say it is urban, some see gay, others say African American, some call it a coming-of-age film, while critics write independent or arthouse. The truth is, Blueprint is a little of all of those things and more.

The film director, Kirt Shannon-Butts, got in touch with me, and we spoke a bit, he is really nice, friendly, and i must say Blueprint looks really cool !!!

In 2 weeks, i’m going 10 days to Ireland, in a family, and its gonna be great. In 2 weeks, the FINAL season of Lost is coming out, wich i’ve been waiting for really long. <3. That’s some good things. Especially when you know that these last few weeks were like the worst of my life. Anyway. Oh, and speaking all my night on skype with handsome boys is like awesome. <3. Even if i’m sleeping during classes xD

Oh, and I went to cinema this weekend, and i was two of my favorite films, ever.

1/ BRIGHT STAR.

Its the sad story of John Keats, in his lasts years. He died when he was only 25, but the few poems he made are nowadays considered as some of the most beautiful romantic poems ever. Like Lord Byrons ones, for instance.

The  film shows us, his life, especially his love story with Fanny Brawne, and how he created wonderful poems;

Here’s one of my favorite one :

Bright Star

Bright star, would I were steadfast as thou art–
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature’s patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth’s human shores,

No–yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow’d upon my fair love’s ripening breast,

The soundtrack is quite beautiful, with some violin parts, and the final scene of the film, in which while walking, Fanny Brawne say loudly this poem, is just amazing.

2/ MR. NOBODY.

Woaw. this film is just a masterpiece.  When i saw it, i was feeling like the director picked most of my favorite musics, and films, and mixed them the very same way i would have done it. Seriously, it’s just awesome. It tell how every lifes are possible untill you haven’t chosen anything in it : a boy’s parents are getting separated, he must choose wether he goes with his dad, or with his mom. As long as he haven’t decided, he will marry a lot of girls, he will die in differents way, ect…

And the end is incredible : i’ll just say “Zugzwang”. The soundtrack is quite beautiful too, mostly with musics that existed before, though.

Oh, and i’m still reading a lot of books in english >< I don’t have enough time to finish any of them tho ^^

I’m reading Cherub, book 10; the 39 clues, book 4, and also Harry Pooter 7 one more time ^^

So here I am, back in Paris for 2 weeks, and here are some news.

I’m about to film a new short-film, better than the 1st one, and i can’t wait for it to be finished

I think i’m gonna stop studies, at least for now, and for a few years, if not forever. I’ve got too much problems.

Oh, and my ex-boyfriend, josh, deleted me of all his contacts, wich doesn’t help me being more happy. I guess it’s how life works… oO

By the way, and it’s Xmas tomorrow , yay !!

I guess soon i’ll make a post about the films i recently saw (like Avatar, A Christmas Carol, or Where the Wild Things Are… ^^)

So no much news here, appart that i still read a lot of books >< so i don’t know wich one to read first, and it ends with me reading 10 differents book, without having time enough to finish one xD

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while because lots of sutff happend.

I’m still waiting for The Boy of my life, but some other things got better ^^

I’m now accepted in a boarding school in Lyon, and its quite great even if i’ll miss my friends and  family, i dunno…

Anyway in 5 days more stuff happend than in the last 2 month oO’

I went in lyon, saw the school, and my room wich is BIG, and i’ll post some pics of it when i’ll be in there, in a few days.

Big change : I won’t be able to have my laptop in the week (from monday to friday), but i’ll go check my mails every night on their crappy computers ^^and hopefully on my future Iphone (Wooohooo )…

So, i’ll post on my blog only on the week-ends, and i hope i’ll show you pics of the city, wich is absolutely beautiful

By the  way, Clint Eastwood will be there next week for a movie stuff, and i’ll go to see him

So yesterday was a quite cool day. Now i don’t have classe on saturday wich is great ^^so i bought the 4th season of 24 (^^) because i was kinda bored… And after i saw some friends, and we went to see Harry Potter 6 (again ^o^) at the night. It endend at 2:30am and it was still as good =D

So i still feel like holydays (if i forget the homeworks i’ve got to do for tomorrow xD)…

And tomorrow, begins the serious things :p

I discovered this book, i’m gonna buy it today or tomorrow, probably in english. The Lovely Bones. It looks so amazing. And the adaptation, directed by Peter Jackson (Lord of the Ring Saga, King Kong) looks more than amazing. I know i’m gonna cry when i’ll see it.

I cann’t wait for december, now >.<

The Lovely Bones is a 2002 novel by Alice Sebold. It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being brutally raped and murdered, watches fromheaven as her family and friends go on with their lives, while she herself comes to terms with her own death. The novel received a great deal of critical praise and became an instant bestseller.

A film adaptation of the novel is currently in post-production and is being directed by Peter Jackson, who personally purchased the rights. It is set for release in late 2009.
